There’s a really helpful audio book available on Radio 4 by Matt Haig, It’s his personal account of living with chronic anxiety and depression.
It’s a moving and inspiring memoir, charting just how debilitating these conditions can be.
It feels like you’re having a conversation with a close friend who opens his heart in an honest way but helps the listener realise that you’re not the only person to have felt this bad.
Somehow it achieves a soothing and therapeutic quality, and though It is peppered with fascinating insights and points to things to try, it is essentially non-prescriptive, and has a warm conversational style that makes it compelling listening
It’s available in 8 bite size (15 minute) chunks

If you or someone you know is suffering, I would highly recommend it.
